The Creativity Essence

Align with the Creative Flow

The cosmic energy flow is currently highly creative and filled with new ideas and possibilities for us to connect with and use. It is reminding us that we are the creators of our own realities and to step up and contribute to the creation of a new, higher frequency reality for our collective future.

At the same time as we are being called upon to own and use our creativity in new ways, many of us have old patterns relating to the use of our creativity and imagination that can make this a little challenging.

The kind of creative ideas that have the most expanded potential for creating something new are those that arrive with us when we are particularly connected to our heart energies. Often these are downloads of inspiration and expanded vision that we receive from our higher self.

At the time we receive this inspiration we usually know exactly how to carry it out, and it feels very flowing and expansive. The problem arises when we take the idea into the logical mind and view it from the perspective of the left brain and from a different vibrational frequency. Here we encounter all the old programming which might tells us that our ideas do not fit into the ‘normal’ box and that they will never work, not be wanted, will cause a problem etc.

The Effect of Old Patterns

Possibly you will have had this kind of experience yourself where you get a fantastic idea and in the moment of connecting with it you feel on a high and know exactly how to achieve it, only to end up feeling frustrated, doubtful and ultimately disappointed when you cannot retrieve the same sense of excitement and enthusiasm to action the idea.

Usually this means that you have hit an old pattern that is temporarily preventing you from connecting back to your heart and higher self where the idea and vibrational frequency that it was set in is still very much alive.

In the high frequency energies that we are living in right now there are so many amazing opportunities for us to use our creativity in new ways and at the same time the old patterns are being pushed to the surface for us to transform. While this is not always comfortable it is an exciting opportunity to explore more of our true selves.

Freeing Yourself from Old Patterns

Let’s take a look at how we might end up with old patterns that unconsciously limit our creativity. A good starting place can be to look at the family imprints that you have picked up around using your creativity and letting your uniqueness have free flow.

If you are lucky you might find that your family was happy to be unusual and encouraged you to be and express who you are. Unfortunately this is the exception rather than the rule and so many people have found themselves being taught to stay within the excepted ways of doing things, perhaps being discouraged from exploring where their innate creativity could take them or redirected into a career that would be safe and secure etc.

You might find that there was no encouragement to explore your ideas or to feel comfortable being an individual with unique ideas to offer. The education system has also been rather ridged in its focus on left brain learning and often dismissive or discouraging of anything that did not fit into the limited ‘box’ that was considered ‘normal’.

Generally we have not been taught or encouraged to pay attention to what our hearts are telling us or to listen within for the messages from our soul, nor to pay attention to how it feels when we do this. Instead we have largely been taught to look to the outside for information and not to step out of the ‘box’ if you want to get on in the world. Our creativity, imagination and ability to be fully ourselves can become very squashed in these circumstances, so much so that we loose connection to them and become disempowered and disheartened.

The energies at the moment are focused on helping us to move away from this old paradigm and assisting us to bring greater balance to the use of intuition and logic or right/left brain functions. We are being actively encouraged to use our imagination, and work from our hearts to explore the creative gifts that we each have so that we can use them to make changes in our lives.

Help from the Creativity Essence

Over the years I have personally found this a very helpful combination to take at times when I have found myself feeling a bit stuck for new ideas and inspiration. I have also used it very successfully to help me reconnect with the fullness and expansiveness of an idea that I feel strongly I want to manifest but have encountered some inner resistance when it comes to taking action.

In this situation the essence quickly helped to reveal the pattern that was causing the disturbance and began to loosen its hold so that I could move forward more easily. Vibrational essences are such wonderful tools, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to keep on exploring what they have to offer us all.

• Feeling a bit stuck and limited in vision.

• Wanting to expand and rejuvenate your creativity.

• A need to express your individuality more fully.

• Difficulty being yourself in all situations.

• Needing support to dissolve old patterns limiting your creative abilities.

• Release of limiting patterns.

How to Use

Tips for Consciously Working With Essences…

Tips for working consciously and purposefully with the Creativity Essence

• Be willing to explore where you currently feel limitations around your creativity and individuality. Often, we create ‘excuses’ for ourselves that limit our ability to see and dissolve the old patterns. For instance, ‘I am just not a creative person’ or ‘ it’s too late to find that part of myself’ etc. These are all just old coping strategies and create resistance to digging beneath the surface and allowing ourselves to explore the natural creative ability we were all born with.

• As you take the Creativity Essence allow it to reveal any old belief patterns that have created a filter that now prevents you from using your creativity. These might become particularly obvious in a situation where you are being requested to move into a creative space that is out of your comfort zone.

• Remember that we all have creative abilities, and we use them all of the time, but not always in the most positive ways. Believing that you are not creative for instance will in itself limit your ability feel comfortable connecting with your imagination and creativity.

• Be mindful of any triggers that particularly make you you shut down your creativity or try to hide your individuality.
