Our Depth of Trauma |
Sadly, we humans have a long history of abusive behaviour towards each other, that has taken many varied and unpleasant forms over the passage of time. So much so that the patterning has now become deeply embedded in the data bank of collective patterning that we draw from as a soul coming into embodiment on Earth.
Down the ages some of the things that it has manifested as are slavery, persecution of women with psychic and healing gifts, persecution of those with different religious beliefs, persecution of those with different skin colour and ethnic backgrounds, wartime atrocities and sexual, emotional & mental abuses of all kinds.
As the vibrational frequency rises on our planet and our level of consciousness expands, many of these issues related to abuse have been coming into greater prominence and awareness. Over recent years previously hidden areas of abuse have been exposed and those responsible called out over their actions.
As individuals many people have been remembering situations of abuse that have happened to them, often as young children. Others have had experiences of reconnecting with deeply traumatic abusive incidents from past lives.
Without doubt this is challenging in the moment but is actually very positive in the long term because it means that the healing and release of this deeply held patterning is finally possible. |
The Legacy of Abuse |
Abuse of any kind leaves deep scars on the psyche of those on the receiving end and our response to trauma of this kind can lead to parts of ourselves being unable to take part fully in life, a reluctance to engage in relationships in a balanced way, difficulty standing in your own power, dysfunctional boundaries, feeling that life is stacked against you or that you are a victim of circumstances. Of course none of this is ultimately true, but it can be difficult to see this when you are deeply enmeshed in the trauma of the patterning. |
