Royal Mail Delivery Delays
We're very sorry if you have had a delay receiving your order because of the recent Royal Mail strike action
Royal Mail services ( particularly second class post ) are currently experiencing significant delays as a result of the ongoing industrial action as well as the increased volume of Christmas post going through the system. You can find details of the current Royal Mail strike action here.

U.K. Deliveries.....
Parcels Sent By Normal Royal Mail 24 & 48
The tracking code for Royal Mail 24 & 48, which we will have sent you in your confirmation email, only becomes active when the parcel is scanned when it is sorted for delivery. Until this point the message on the Royal Mail tracking website will read: "An update will only be provided when we attempt to deliver your item".
Currently the Christmas rush together with the recent strike action is causing a large accumulation of mail all waiting to be sorted. This is leading to sometimes quite significant delays in the processing of post through the Royal Mail system. This seems to be particularly bad for the post dispatched around the 24th Novemeber some of which is still undelivered because it has got caught in the backlog caused by the strike action. This situation also seems to be worse in some areas than others.
We're really sorry about any delays in your receiving your parcel, and we know how frustrating this can be. However, generally the post is getting through, just in a longer than usual amount of time.
Parcels Sent By Royal Mail Tracked 24 & 48
This is a new service that we are now beginning to offer. The tracking code for Royal Mail Tracked offers end to end tracking for your parcel and you can track its progress through the Royal Mail tracking website.

This is leading to sometimes quite significant delays in the processing of post through the Royal Mail system and seems to be affecting these tracked services as well as the normal first and second class post.

International Deliveries.....
Parcels Sent By Royal Mail International Services
Royal Mail International services are also being affected because of the current strike action as Royal Mail sorting offices are striking as well as the postal delivery people. The Christmas rush together with the recent strike action is causing a large accumulation of mail all waiting to be sorted and this is leading to delays on the international side of things too. However, once your parcel has been sorted and dispatched from the Royal Mail network you should find that there will be no more delays other than those usually seen at this time of year because of Christmas.
